The Forge Motorsport FMEDV103R Electronic Diverter Valve is a high-performance electronic valve solution for VAG 1.8 and 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen 3 engines. While conventional performance valves require vacuum taps, mechanical reference blocks, and external hoses, this system features an integrated electronic pilot valve that connects directly into the factory wiring loom. CNC machined from aerospace-grade aluminium billet, it eliminates boost leak issues common with standard plastic components. This makes it an essential upgrade for vehicles running performance tuning software or upgraded turbochargers.
This premium electronic valve uses an internal piston layout that reacts cleanly to ECU commands, preventing compressor surge during rapid lift-off shifts while keeping the car's original engine management rules happy.
