Gearbox Mounts

A gear box mount is responsible for holding the drive train to the chassis while keeping the gearbox securely in place. One of our gearbox mounts includes the RacingLine Engine-Gearbox-Lower Mount. This is a performance-focused drivetrain mount designed for MQB-platform vehicles, including the Golf Mk5 through Mk8 equipped with EA113, EA888 Gen 3, and EA888 Gen 4 engines. It is engineered to replace the factory lower engine and gearbox mount with a stronger, more rigid unit that reduces unwanted drivetrain movement under load.

Designed with polyurethane materials, the solid gearbox mount reduces excessive flex in the drivetrain by limiting how much the engine can move under acceleration, gear changes and load changes. This increased rigidity feels great in high-intensity driving, so you get the best experience while on the track.
