Technical Calibration Notes

Removing the restrictive factory EGR valve is a highly effective hardware modification for high-mileage utility vans or vehicles used on frequent short journeys. Because this upgrade alters factory emissions loops, the engine management light (EML) will illuminate and the glow plug light will flash. This is completely normal and does not change how the vehicle drives, though an ECU remap is recommended to permanently turn off the dashboard lights.

IMPORTANT FITMENT RESTRICTION: This kit is compatible *only* with 5-cylinder 2.5 TDI engine codes AXD, AXE, and BLJ. It replaces original VW EGR part number 070 128 070E. It is intended strictly for non-road/off-highway use.
