Presenting the do88 V2 Intake System for VAG 1.8 and 2.0 TSI EA888 engines. This system is engineered for perfect compatibility with both MQB and MQB EVO (EA888 Gen4) platforms. This specific model features a high-quality plastic construction, making it the ideal choice for drivers who prioritize raw performance and efficiency over visual appeal.

This plastic version of the V2 intake is a comprehensive kit designed for those who believe in function over form. It ensures you get full power without the added cost of cosmetic materials. The design includes a full-frontal inlet scoop that spans the entire width of the radiator support. This delivers a steady stream of cool, fresh air directly to the massive, custom-designed cotton air filter.

The streamlined design ensures a direct and efficient airflow path to the turbocharger. It eliminates sharp bends and restrictions found in stock components, allowing your turbo to breathe unrestrictedly. This results in improved throttle response, faster boost response, and an enhanced induction sound from the turbo and diverter valve.

• Huge Airflow Increase: Increases airflow up to 44% with the factory turbo inlet hose, and up to 84% when combined with the do88 performance turbo inlet hose.
• Proven Power Gains: Optimized for tuned engines, offering up to +16 hp and +30 Nm increase on a Stage 3 vehicle (VW GTI Mk7).
• Superior Filtration: Includes a large, custom-designed cotton air filter with densely knitted cotton gauze. The filter is washable and delivered pre-oiled.
• Versatile Compatibility: Works with original turbo inlet hoses, do88 performance hoses, and most aftermarket options designed for the stock airbox connection.
• Smart Design: Features a water drainage opening at the bottom of the airbox and utilizes factory airbox mounts for quick and easy installation.

Note: This system is suitable for cars with or without SAI (Secondary Air Injection). The SAI filter is sold separately.

Installation and Maintenance

The do88 V2 Intake System is designed for a hassle-free install using existing mounting points. To maintain optimum performance, we recommend cleaning the washable air filter every 20,000 km.
