The Ecotune Stage 3 software for the MQB 2.0TSI platform is a precision-engineered calibration designed to unlock the true potential of high-flow hybrid turbochargers. Specifically optimized for the TTV5 and Garrett Powermax 2, this software provides a massive increase in horsepower and torque while maintaining OEM levels of drivability. Every file is developed strictly for 99 RON fuel or higher and includes Ecotune's Reflex Response logic for real-time engine protection and safety.

To achieve peak performance safely, this Stage 3 package requires a structured hardware stack. We recommend and supply parts from our preferred partners below:
Essential for high-volume air delivery. We recommend TTE or Garrett hybrids paired with high-flow induction from Forge, Racingline, or APR. Cooling is managed via do88 intercoolers.
Reducing backpressure is mandatory for hybrid turbos. High-flow large-bore downpipes from Scorpion or Milltek are strictly required for this calibration.
To support high flow rates, an upgraded HPFP (Autotech/APR) and LPFP (Ecotune/Walbro) are necessary. For those seeking Flex Fuel capabilities, additional sensor hardware is required during installation.
To handle the increased torque, we strongly suggest Racingline engine mounts and a performance clutch for manual cars. We exclusively use Millers Oils and Motul high-performance fluids for all Stage 3 builds.
Essential for DSG models to increase clamping pressure (18-bar+) and prevent clutch slip under high torque.
Suitable for Manual vehicles with an existing high-torque clutch upgrade (RTS/APR recommended).

This software is developed for the 2.0TSI EA888 Gen 3 engine across the MQB platform. Hose and hardware color options are available for all induction components.

Installation Requirements: Your vehicle is booked for Ecotune Stage 3 tuning. Before any calibration work begins, a full pre-tune inspection must be carried out. This inspection is essential for Safety & Reliability, Correct Hardware Verification, Ensuring Accurate Calibration, and Preventing Avoidable Issues. We check: Turbocharger, Cold air intake system, Turbo inlet pipe, Low-pressure fuel pump (LPFP), High-pressure fuel pump (HPFP), Upgraded injectors, Intercooler, downpipe, exhaust components, and all performance-related modifications. All software must be reviewed and signed off by the Ecotune Calibration Team. The vehicle will not be released in a tuned state until this approval process is completed.
