The Ecotune Stage 3 software for the Polo GTI 1.8TSI is the ultimate calibration for IS38-based builds. Boasting results up to 484BHP and 458lb-ft, this software includes boost-by-gear and Flex Fuel capabilities. Optimized for 99 RON fuel quality to ensure maximum efficiency.

Categorized Hardware Requirements

1. Turbo & Airflow

Optimized for the Golf R IS38 Turbo which is a Direct Interchange. Requires induction from Forge or Racingline. Cooling by do88 or APR.

2. Exhaust & Downpipe

Mandatory high-flow downpipes from Scorpion or Milltek.

3. Fuel System

Must use upgraded Ecotune 1.8 LPFP and 980cc injectors for high-power targets. Flex Fuel ethanol kits are available.

4. Additional Recommended Upgrades

Performance clutch (Manual) RTS Performance or TCU software (DSG) is strictly required. Lubrication by Millers Oils or Motul.

Installation Requirements: Your vehicle is booked for Ecotune Stage 3 tuning. Before any calibration work begins, a full pre-tune inspection must be carried out. This inspection is essential for Safety & Reliability, Correct Hardware Verification, Ensuring Accurate Calibration, and Preventing Avoidable Issues. We check: Turbocharger, Cold air intake system, Turbo inlet pipe, Low-pressure fuel pump (LPFP), High-pressure fuel pump (HPFP), Upgraded injectors, Intercooler, downpipe, exhaust components, and all performance-related modifications as required. All software must be reviewed and signed off by the Ecotune Calibration Team. The vehicle will not be released in a tuned state until this approval process is completed.
