Replace your restrictive and aging factory intake hose with the do88 Performance Inlet Hose. Specifically developed for the VAG MQB platform (1.8 TSI / 2.0 TSI), this upgrade offers superior durability and flow characteristics compared to the standard rubber component.
Factory rubber hoses are prone to cracking over time due to engine heat cycles. The do88 alternative is a robust, long-term solution that also enhances the aesthetic appeal of your engine bay.
Unlike the standard hose, the do88 inlet hose features an integrated steel wire. This crucial design element prevents the hose from collapsing under the high negative pressure generated by the turbocharger during heavy acceleration, ensuring consistent airflow.
Manufactured from high-quality silicone with 3 to 5 layers of reinforcement (depending on position and diameter), this hose is built to withstand high pressures and temperatures.
