The Forge Motorsport FMKTVWT52 is a set of four high-grade, fabric-reinforced European silicone boost hoses engineered specifically for the Volkswagen Transporter T5.1 equipped with the 180hp twin-turbo diesel engine (Engine Code: CFCA). Commercial engines generate high torque low down in the rev range, creating significant vibration and elevated thermal loads across the charge plumbing. These uprated hoses replace fragile factory lines, ensuring a durable, reliable seal whether you are towing, hauling, or touring.
The standard factory boost hoses often degrade over time due to high temperatures and exposure to oil mist from the crankcase ventilation system. This oil saturation weakens the factory rubber, causing the hoses to split or blow off under load and resulting in a sudden loss of power. Forge solves this issue by incorporating a premium Fluorosilicone inner lining. This advanced barrier stands up to air containing oil mist and works safely with modern long-life coolants or Organic Acid Technology (O.A.T.), preventing degradation and ensuring a lifetime of reliable use.
The construction of these hoses matches or exceeds original equipment specifications, adding structural durability and a clean look to your engine bay. Note: The silicone hoses in this kit are available in standard color finishes, including Gloss Black, Performance Red, and Signature Blue. The kit comes complete with CNC machined alloy bayonet-style couplers, providing a secure, precise fit into the factory intercooler ports.
