Engineered specifically for the highly popular Volkswagen Audi Group Mk5 and Mk6 platforms equipped with 2.0 TFSI (EA113) and 2.0 TSI (EA888) engines, this comprehensive cooling upgrade replaces or supplements your stock heat exchanger setup. The factory intercooler configuration features a highly restrictive core design sandwiched tightly between the hot engine radiator and the air conditioning condenser. This poor positioning starves the factory core of direct ambient airflow, causing induction temperatures to skyrocket after just a single hard acceleration run, which prompts the factory ECU to pull ignition timing and reduce power output.

By positioning the core to receive completely unrestricted, direct ambient airflow, cooling efficiency is maximized exponentially. This premium upgrade features an advanced bar-and-plate core design combined with fabricator-crafted, high-flow cast aluminum end tanks. This specialized internal geometry drastically reduces pressure drop across the cooling circuit while dramatically slowing down thermal transfer, keeping your Inlet Air Temperatures (IATs) remarkably close to ambient levels even during extended track sessions or high-boost highway pulls.

Eliminating Expansion & Maximizing Boost Response

This uprated intercooler upgrade kit comes fully supplied with a proprietary set of high-tensile, multi-ply fabric reinforced silicone boost hoses. Unlike original equipment factory rubber lines that expand, balloon, and soften under increased turbo pressures, these high-end Forge silicone hoses feature superior structural rigidity. By maintaining a fixed internal diameter under full load, they optimize charge air velocity, eliminate boost fluctuations, and provide a noticeably sharper, more immediate throttle response. An integrated inner Fluorosilicone liner ensures complete chemical protection against modern cooling agents and aggressive aerosolized oil mist within the PCV stream.
