Specially developed by our engineering team for the common-rail Volkswagen Audi Group 1.6 TDI and 2.0 TDI diesel engine families, this high-quality hardware component provides a clean path to add an auxiliary oil cooling circuit. High-torque diesel engines running optimized engine management calibrations or subjected to frequent heavy towing stress generate extreme thermal loads that can cause standard engine oil to break down, dropping oil film pressure and increasing internal engine wear.

This premium hardware component is precision-machined at our UK facility using state-of-the-art multi-axis CNC billet machinery. Cut from a single solid block of aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum billet, this takeoff plate replaces the restrictive original equipment casting block entirely. The internal passage configuration features an enlarged profile designed to maximize oil volume capacity while maintaining consistent fluid velocity. To protect the aluminum against surface oxidation and corrosive salt spray, the block is finished in a durable, sleek matte black anodized surface coating.

Standardized External Connection Hardware

The defining feature of this technical adapter design is the integration of two high-flow AN-8 or AN-10 male connection threads machined directly into the plate face. These industry-standard external connection ports allow for direct installation of high-pressure steel braided line pathways running out to an external heat exchanger, ensuring a completely secure, leak-free fluid fitment under high pressure cycles.
