The Garrett PowerMax™ Stage 1 GT2260S is the definitive turbocharger upgrade for the 2.0L VAG EA888 Gen 3 engine. Unlike hybrid turbos that use modified stock housings, the PowerMax™ is a clean-sheet design from Garrett, engineered to support up to 485 BHP. This bolt-on solution provides a massive increase in flow capacity while retaining all factory plumbing, making it the most reliable path to Stage 3 power levels for the MQB platform.

When upgrading from the factory IS38 turbo (found on the Golf R and Audi S3), the PowerMax™ 1 offers significant advantages in both headroom and durability.
