This is a self-designed performance intercooler from do88, engineered for an easy drop-in fitment in your Audi, Seat, Skoda, or VW 1.8 TSI / 2.0 TSI (MQB platform). Constructed to deliver the best cooling efficiency during tough conditions, this unit is exclusively manufactured in aluminum with continuous welds to guarantee reliability and endurance.

Significant Advantages over OEM (VW Golf GTI):

• Greater Core Volume: 15,347 cm³, which is 99% bigger than the OEM 7,719 cm³.
• Bigger Active Cooling Area: 2,692 cm² vs 2,573 cm² (5% bigger).
• High Air Flow: 455 CFM at 0.15bar/2.18psi pressure drop, 47% higher than OEM.
• Lower Temperatures: Proven to deliver post-intercooler air temperatures 12°C lower than OEM under the same conditions.

The increased core volume improves cooling efficiency and lowers the intake air temperature. The engine pulls better across all revs and withstands repeated full throttle runs without building heat, unlike the OEM unit which can cause power loss due to heat soak.

Product Variations: This intercooler kit is available with a choice of pipework hose colors to suit your engine bay styling. Please select your preference from the options available: Blue, Red, or Black.

This product comes with everything necessary for an easy installation, including bolts, washers, and mounting instructions. While it is designed for drop-in fitment, some specific models may require minor trimming of the plastic support frame (see compatibility notes below).
